The pinnacle of our CME programs this year was the 9th International Symposium of Facial Plastic Surgery which was held in Las Vegas. Attendance was fantastic—the largest meeting ever hosted by the AAFPRS, in cooperation with the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies. A comprehensive and diverse program was planned by a large group of volunteers, who spent thousands of hours planning and implementing this complex meeting. The CME department, under the direction of Caryl Herrington, must be congratulated for a superior effort. The Rejuvenation of the Aging Face course, held in Boca Raton, was filled with up-to-date techniques and innovations for the aging face patient. The winter ski meeting in Park City, Utah, was a wonderful opportunity to share information with our colleagues in dermatologic and oculoplastic surgery. A great meeting in a fun place made for a unique learning experience.

I have worked with Caryl Herrington for many years in the planning of several national medical symposia.  The Forum Group continues to manage our annual symposium, Facial Cosmetic Surgery, in Las Vegas.  I feel that The Forum Group has done a very effective job of managing all aspects of this event and has helped me to develop what is now one of the leading programs of its type in the US.  The Forum Group staff has always been very responsive to my needs and has been excellent in dealing with hotels, the faculty and attending physicians.
